Einen Abend lang Soul und Gefühl im historischen Kuppelsaal im ehemaligen Frauengefängnis Lichterfelde – einst ein Betsaal, heute eine atmosphärische Speakeasy-Bar mit eindrucksvoller Akustik und hohen Gewölben.

The Souly Bird ist eine Berliner Sängerin aus dem Kiez Lichterfelde, die zwischen Berlin und dem afrikanischen Kontinent zu Hause ist. Poetisch und “soulful” sind ihre Lieder, die zu ihrem Namen passen. Geprägt von lyrischen deutschen Texten und jazzigen westafrikanischen Rhythmen gestaltet sie gemeinsam mit ihrem Gitarristen einen Abend voller Brücken, Beats und Bühnenpräsenz.

Ein kurzer Ausflug nach Ghana gemeinsam mit Rainer Maria Rilke ist im Ticketpreis enthalten.

An evening of soul and emotion in the historic domed hall of the former Lichterfelde women's Pr*son—once a prayer room, now an atmospheric speakeasy bar with impressive acoustics and high vaults.

The Souly Bird is a Berlin singer from the Lichterfelde neighborhood who is at home both in Berlin and on the African continent. Her songs are poetic and soulful, matching her name. Characterized by German lyrics and jazzy West African rhythms, she and her guitarist create an evening full of bridges, beats, and stage presence.

A short trip to Ghana with Rainer Maria Rilke is included in the ticket price.
