A relaxed afternoon for single people over 65; meet new people, enjoy conversations and make connections. Welcoming and pressure-free!
If you’d like to meet new people in a relaxed, welcoming setting, this afternoon has been created especially for you.
This is not speed dating, and there is no pressure to find romance. It’s simply a chance to enjoy good company, gentle conversation and meaningful connections, whether that leads to friendship, companionship or something more over time.
☕ What to expect
We’ll start with a little bit of structure, just enough to help everyone feel comfortable and make sure you meet different people in the room.
You’ll be seated at small tables and gently moved around a few times so conversations feel easy and natural. There’s no rushing, no awkward moments and no need to think about what to say. Prompts will be on the tables if you want them.
Once everyone has had a chance to mix, the structure ends, and the afternoon becomes completely relaxed.
From then on, you can:

There is no pressure to take part in anything. You can join in as much or as little as you like

You can either exchange contact details directly if you both feel comfortable, or use a simple, private match card to let the host know who you’d like to see again.
If the feeling is mutual, you’ll both be put in touch afterwards. There are no public announcements and no pressure at all. You only share details if you want to.
