A Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving for Volunteers Across the Diocese

As National Volunteer Week comes to a close we would like to invite you to join us at Blackburn Cathedral to celebrate the work of Volunteers across the Diocese.

Whether you care for the smallest chapel in the diocese or welcome all to our Cathedral. From the youngest volunteer to the oldest we would like to see you all there.

The service will be followed by refreshments and the chance to meet up with fellow volunteers from across the Diocese.

Blackburn Cathedral is two minutes from the bus interchange and railway station. Please note that there is no onsite parking however there are a number of public car parks close by.

Although there are some old, uneven surfaces and care should be taken, the Cathedral is fully accessible and wheelchair friendly. There is level access into and around the building.
