'A Season to Sing' by the UK composer Joanna Forbes L’Estrange (former member of the Swingle Singers) is a choral re-imagining of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons to mark its 300th anniversary in 2025. Arranged for mixed voices and organ, it weaves into Vivaldi’s well-loved melodies with both sacred and secular texts on the subject of spring, summer, autumn and winter. It has already been performed to great acclaim and has received positive reviews, including from Sir John Rutter, the well known choral composer:

Co-commissioned by TRUE VOICES and 54 other choirs around the world, Joanna Forbes L’Estrange will be in Cape Town to conduct this African premiere. The first half of the concert will consist of world premieres of five South African compositions commissioned especially by former members of TRUE VOICES.
