Drop-in and join us for a film screening of Dr Imelda Perley Opolahsomuwehs: Women of This Land. This 22-minute episode will play on loop for visitors to join anytime during open hours on Tuesday, September 30 (National Day for Truth and Reconciliation).

Elder Dr Imelda Perley Opolahsomuwehs is a highly respected Elder from Neqotkuk (Tobique First Nation) in New Brunswick. As a healer, teacher, and language keeper, she is doing incredible work for the future of her language and the well-being of her community. This episode opens with a sweat lodge ceremony for all the children that went to residential schools that couldn’t come home for ceremonies.
