Kalaora in an immersive solo performance as Deborah Samson [Sampson], the first woman to successfully enlist, to professionally fight in, and to be honorably discharged from the American Military. The hour-long program chronicles her life: An indentured servant by age five, Deborah grew up in a man's world, where women were naught but second-class subjects. Without the ability to vote nor own property, Deborah knew options were limited; breaking the rules may be necessary to accomplish a greater goal in life. Experience Deborah’s arduous upbringing, one and a half years of active combat, and success as America’s first professional female soldier, through interactive stories and authentic colonial attire. Deborah's passion will take you back in time!

In ™, HAP Founder & Artistic Director Judith Kalaora is Rachel Revere— wife to Paul Revere and Founding Mother. Now, we bring Rachel’s story to you.

HAP was founded in 2010 and redefines immersive theatre as a pop culture teaching tool, exposing audiences to vastly different viewpoints. The company is internationally renowned in the history, corporate, educational, and entertainment fields for breaking the mold of traditional high-calibre touring theatre, along with virtual and hybrid events.

Founder & Artistic Director Judith Kalaora portrays Rachel Revere and enchants audiences in this 60-minute program. Kalaora is a professional educator, award-winning playwright, and living historian. She graduated Magna cum Laude from Syracuse University and completed the Globe Education Program at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre of London, England.
