About this Event
Every month, Ghouls and Girlies meets to have a discussion on a different eerie topic. At the bottom of this May event detail will be a full bio of Ghouls and Girlies. Join us to listen to our regular attendee Sarah speak of her experiences with interning at the county morgue located in the small Ohio town she grew up in. Sarah will explain the following and have a Q and A at the end: differences in medical coroner examinations in Ohio based on type of death, viewing case files for already solved deaths, the processing of remains from arrival to departure to a funeral home, and how an autopsy is peformed on a body. Sarah currently has a career in STEM with no stiffs, but certainly has retained a lot of memories of her experience in Ohio. To help prepare ahead of time for May 14, attendees can use all or some of the below resources. They have been vetted by Sarah.
