An evening for the mind and the taste buds with Jean McGarry and Franklin W. Knight!
About this Event

What links Jean McGarry's new memoir, reflecting on a life originally grounded in Catholicism, and Franklin W. Knight's new book The History and Connoisseurship of Rum? As it turns out, it's the ability to slow down and to savor--to consider the impact of the flavors that shape lives, cultures, and geographies-- so we're going to do just that on the Ivy patio on Friday, May 22nd.

We'll have a rum tasting with rums from around the world. Or, if you're more inclined towards other beverages, a bar with wine, beer, and n/a options available.

See you there!

Order HERSELF AND OTHERS: A MEMOIR here!

THE HISTORY AND CONNOISSEURSHIP OF RUM will be available for purchase at the event.
