Join Houston Rabbit Resource, Brazos Bookstore, and Silent Book Club Houston Central for a soft, cozy evening of silent reading with some very special companions.We will be bringing a small group of calm, gentle rabbits who thrive in peaceful environments. These bunnies aren’t the “run up to everyone” type. They are the quiet listeners, the soft sit-beside-you types, the perfect reading partners for anyone who loves slow moments and gentle company.
Guests are invited to bring (or buy 😁) a book, find a comfortable spot on the floor or low seating, and share quiet space with our bunny ambassadors. The rabbits will be free to relax, explore, and approach guests on their own terms. This is not a petting zoo experience. It is about presence, patience, and letting connection happen naturally.
Throughout the evening, we will share a few short stories about the rabbits in attendance and what kind of homes they are hoping to find. You will also learn why some rabbits do best in calm, low-stress environments and how beautifully they fit into quiet households.
This event is best suited for adults, young adults, and calm older children who can sit quietly and follow bunny-friendly guidelines.
Whether you come for the books, the bunnies, or the stillness, we hope you leave feeling a little softer than when you arrived.
