First, we hope you'll join us for a tour and ghost hunt at the Historic Topeka Cemetery, Saturday, September 20th starting at 6pm. We are elated to connect with Topeka Cemetery for our first public event with them (and first GLP benefit event ever)! We will get you in the spooky season mood with this historic tour, seeing beautiful, unusual monuments and the final resting places of those who made Topeka and Kansas history! What other secrets could you learn when you "commune with the spirits" of the Historic Topeka Cemetery?
Cost is $20.00 per person, and every penny goes to the cemetery!
Then, on Saturday, October 25, you can join us for a free event at the Topeka State Hospital Cemetery! It's a "Picnic with the Paranormal"! Come join us at this mysterious cemetery near I-70 and MacVicar. Bring your sandwiches and lawn chairs to learn about the history of the Topeka State Hospital, and the 1,157 patients buried there. Then we will investigate the cemetery for a pre-Halloween night you won't forget.
Two awesome nights of hometown history, with a bit of a thrill!
