Join Preservation Forsyth and the Ardmore Neighborhood Association for A Pop-Up Walking Tour of Lockland Avenue’s Endangered Houses and a Petition Signing on Wednesday, July 10 at 6:00 p.m. The tour will begin at the corner of Queen Street and Lockland Avenue. There will be a brief introduction, then a short walk to see, and learn about, the history and architectural details of the houses that are threatened with demolition by Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. Members of the Ardmore Neighborhood Association will be onsite and will have a petition that attendees can sign to halt the demolition of these historic houses. We will also have handouts with phone numbers to call to take additional action.
