A playful workshop for beginners with artist Jo Bramall.

Using papers you’ve made in the morning workshop or papers I will provide, we will explore multiple ways of creating beautiful abstract works. We will explore colour, value, shape and size and how to contrast these elements to make dynamic artworks.

We will make a series of small experimental pieces before making a final piece suitable for mounting or framing.

All materials will be provided but feel free to bring along any papers you might like to use - think magazine pages, photographs, old book pages, music, small pieces of lightweight fabric, dried flowers…You might like to bring an apron.

Minimum age 8years, however children under 16years must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Bring a light refreshment with you, as at time of publishing we are awaiting confirmation whether the Peacock Cafe in the Jackfield Tile Museum or a refreshment cart will be available for light snacks.
