Experience a few readings and reflections honoring Gorey’s wit, humor, and enduring influence, and explore a curated display of his books, where guests can linger over his peculiar stories and illustrations.

Capture the night in a thoughtfully designed photo corner, and partake in a peculiar game of observation and imagination, where nothing is quite as it seems — no experience required.

Every guest leaves with a tiny curiosity — a wax-sealed envelope containing a preselected card from the Fantod Pack. Edward Gorey’s trademark sense of impending doom is nowhere more darkly humorous than in this miniature tarot-inspired deck. Each of the 20 cards forecasts outcomes for its user, ranging from the merely inconvenient (loss of hair, broken spectacles, thwarted ambitions) to the downright alarming (catarrh, spasms, shriveling). Each card includes its own interpretation, provided by the ever-mysterious Madame Groeda Weyrd.
