After much thought and reflection, we have decided to postpone the Haunting Humans Workshop and exhibit. For now, the October 18th date at Burns Funeral Home will not be moving forward. We will be reworking the workshop to expand beyond the theme of haunting humans into something broader and more encompassing, with plans to relaunch later this fall or winter when the timing and alignment feel right.We want to thank the students who participated in this workshop, as well as those from both our Exposed exhibit and our most recent exhibit. This decision did not come easy, but it is the right choice. What we represent to the community is very important, and we cannot stress enough how much that means to us.
With that, sometimes things simply need to be reworked. We believe that in doing so, they can grow stronger, better, and amazingly brilliant.
In the meantime, The Art Table will be focusing on building stronger roots and continuing to offer creative programming, classes, and community experiences. We are grateful for the support and energy that surrounds this work, and we look forward to sharing what comes next.
