Sunday, December 6 from 2P – 4P and
Monday, December 7 from 4P – 6:30P
This Advent, you are invited to slow down, to breathe, to pray and to listen. In the midst of the busyness of the season, come and walk a quiet and prayerful path.
Each week offers a different Advent focus with Scripture as a companion for prayer and reflection. December 6 and 7 focus on Hope and Peace at Zion Lutheran Church in Hamilton.
(December 13 and 14, the focus is on Love and Joy at the Park Avenue United Methodist Church - please see a separate event posting.)
A labyrinth is a single, winding path that leads to the center and back out again. Unlike a maze, there are no wrong turns. Walking a labyrinth can quiet the mind and heart, open you up to God’s presence, and create a space for prayer and reflection.
Come as you are. Drop in anytime during the hours mentioned below. Walk and pray the labyrinth path reflecting on scripture passages or silent prayer. Stay as long as you like. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the ending time to allow enough time for your labyrinth walk.
ALL ARE WECLOME. No special background, or experience is needed. It is as simple as walking and breathing. Handheld and lap labyrinths will also be available.
