About this Event
This summer, the South Shore celebrates a milestone — the centennial of artist Nate Neuman's birth. Across the region, his work has come home, filling galleries and collections with renewed appreciation for a singular artistic vision. Join us for an intimate panel conversation bringing together two of the people who knew that vision most closely: Neuman's wife and daughter, in conversation about the man, the work, and the world he made.
Together, they offer a perspective no scholar alone can provide — the texture of a life lived alongside the art, the stories behind the canvases, and the enduring family legacy of an artist whose centennial feels less like a commemoration than a rediscovery. Moderated by our curator, this conversation promises moments of both illumination and intimacy, as two generations reflect on one remarkable creative life.
A fitting companion to Scenes of the Sea and to a summer-long celebration unfolding across the South Shore.
Join us at the Art Complex Museum for this in person deep dive into the master works of Robert Neuman.
