The Band PHANTOM PAIN is formed in 1994 by vocalist Janine Neble and guitarist Nino Orio. Both are accomplished composers and lyricists with a long history of performing in Denmark and abroad. Janine Neble was in the legendary band Alive With Worms. Their music draws inspiration from the gritty energy of Berlin and the creative spirit of New York City.
Their sound blends elements of punk, decadent rock, opera, and goth, resulting in a unique and powerful listening experience.
PHANTOM PAINS's lyrics tackle complex and thought-provoking themes, including gender identity, power dynamics, drug use, capital punishment, and political issues.
Since 2004, PHANTOM PAIN has made Refshaleøen their creative hub, utilizing studios and rehearsal spaces to hone their craft.
In 2024, they released their seventh studio album, "Bloodline."The band thrives on a dynamic energy.
