Join us for an extraordinary evening as Louisa Rose guides guests through a tasting of her projects with Australia’s most distinctive wines, showcasing the diversity of Tasmania, Eden Valley, Barossa, and Coonawarra. With Louisa’s depth of expertise and storytelling, participants will connect directly with the history, craftsmanship, and terroir behind each label. This is a rare opportunity to savor iconic Australian wines while learning from one of the industry’s most influential voices.

The tasting begins with the Jansz Tasmania Vintage Cuvée, a sparkling wine crafted in the traditional méthode champenoise style. Hailing from Tasmania’s cool climate, it is prized for its precision, fine bead, and remarkable balance between fruit purity and complexity. From Eden Valley, guests will enjoy the Pewsey Vale 1961 Block Riesling 2023, an exceptional bottling from a historic vineyard block that consistently delivers piercing citrus, chalky minerality, and ageworthy depth.

The lineup continues with the Yalumba Samuel’s Collection Eden Valley Viognier 2022, reflecting Yalumba’s pioneering role in championing Viognier in Australia. With lifted aromatics of apricot, jasmine, and spice, it highlights the grape’s expressive character when grown in cool Eden Valley. From Barossa, the Yalumba Rare & Fine Grenache, The Tri-Centenary draws from low-yielding, 1889-planted bush vines—among the world’s oldest Grenache vineyards—yielding a wine of incredible fragrance, silkiness, and concentration.

Further south in Coonawarra, the Yalumba Rare & Fine Cabernet Sauvignon, The Menzies Estate Vineyard expresses the region’s famed terra rossa soils with a structured, elegant style marked by cassis, mint, and fine tannins. The evening concludes with the Yalumba Distinguished Sites Shiraz Viognier, Hand Picked Eden Valley, a beautiful co-fermentation that layers the power and spice of Shiraz with the perfume and lift of Viognier—an homage to both tradition and innovation at Yalumba.
