About this Event
Spanish author Juan Trejo, Argentine writer Sergio Waisman, and Guatemalan author Anna Lapera come together for a panel at the 3rd Ibero-American Literature Festival.
Through discussion of their novels, the authors will explore different literary traditions, storytelling approaches, and ways of constructing narratives. Attendees will discover how each writer’s work reflects their country, culture, and era, while addressing universal themes such as memory, identity, and human experience. The conversation will highlight both points of connection and contrast, revealing how personal and collective stories intersect and resonate across time and place.
This panel offers a chance to engage directly with three distinctive voices in contemporary Ibero-American literature, uncovering the richness, plurality, and shared humanity behind their works.
Organized by the Ibero-American Cultural Attaché Association in collaboration with the Cultural Office of the Embassy of Spain in Washington, DC.
