Cocktail Attire
Hors d'oeuvres for VIP during cocktail hour
Every day in Georgetown, someone is quietly carrying more than they should have to.
A parent wondering how to put dinner on the table.
A teenager looking for a first chance to succeed.
A neighbor trying to stay safe through a freezing night.
A family working hard, but still coming up short.
Since 2016, Helping Hands of Georgetown has been meeting people in those moments- with practical help, genuine compassion, and the belief that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity.
Because of a community that chooses to show up, we’ve been able to do more than ever this year. We navigated our longest Warming Center season, launched our Teen Summer Internship Program in partnership with The Georgetown Project to invest in the next generation, and added a second Mobile Food Pantry so we can bring food directly into more neighborhoods across Georgetown.
But we’re not chasing bigger numbers.
We’re building a community where fewer people fall through the cracks. Where help comes without barriers. Where neighbors become the reason other neighbors find hope again.
None of that happens alone.
It happens because people like you believe that a stronger Georgetown is built one family, one meal, one opportunity, and one act of kindness at a time.
When you attend our gala, you’re doing far more than purchasing a ticket. You’re investing in a community where hope is always within reach and no one has to face hardship alone.
Thank you for being part of the story we’re building together.
