The evening begins with Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto, a dazzling showcase of virtuosity and emotional richness. The performance features violinist Aniela Janiak, a rising star who is currently studying at Wells Cathedral School.
The concert continues with Bruckner’s monumental Symphony No. 4, aptly nicknamed “The Romantic.” This majestic work conjures imagery of sweeping landscapes and deep spirituality through lush orchestration, radiant brass, and melodies that soar to breathtaking heights.
