A Night of Promise 2024

To officially kick off the holiday season, Waterbury Promise is hosting its signature fall fundraising event, A Night of Promise, on Thursday, November 21st from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Mattatuck Museum. While last year’s event was tied to the City’s tree lighting ceremony, we’re shaking things up in 2024 and are starting our festivities even earlier—all in support of a great cause!

Join us for a magical night of holiday cheer featuring live music, delicious food, fun WP cocktails and fabulous raffle prizes. Meet our inspiring scholars, help us honor those who have championed our work, and celebrate the Power of the Promise to transform lives and create a brighter future for talented and deserving Waterbury youth through higher education access, success and completion!

Event proceeds (tickets and sponsorships) will support our growing program that includes generous last-dollar college scholarships, the Scholar Emergency Fund and critical wrap-around support services to ensure talented Waterbury students get to college, thrive there, persist through graduation and are career ready to create a robust and diverse talent pipeline for our local economy. We are already supporting 631 incredible Waterbury Promise Scholars—the future leaders of our community—across 20 colleges and universities right here in Connecticut.
