About this Event

The Children’s Dyslexia Center’s Night of Courage & Confidence takes place on October 24, 2026 at the Allentown Masonic Temple. This signature annual event brings together community leaders, families, supporters, and advocates for an inspiring evening dedicated to empowering children with dyslexia.

This year’s celebration honors the courage it takes for a child to persevere — and the confidence that grows when they are given the right support. Sponsor benefits include event tickets and special recognition in support of the Children’s Dyslexia Center’s mission to help children learn to read and reach their full potential.

For more than 30 years, our programs have thrived because of the generosity, leadership, and commitment of our supporters and volunteers. Fundraising from this event allows us to sustain and expand our specialized, evidence-based tutoring services — reaching more children across the Lehigh Valley and surrounding communities who deserve the opportunity to succeed.

October is Dyslexia Awareness Month, making this evening especially meaningful as we celebrate decades of collective service to families throughout the region. Whether you attend, sponsor, volunteer, or help spread the word, your involvement directly impacts a child’s future.

Guests will enjoy an excellent dinner buffet featuring entrées, side dishes, salad, and dessert, along with a cash bar. Attire for the evening is jacket and tie for men — equivalent attire for women.
