Do you feel like it’s time for a good belly laugh? If so, please join us as Farmington High School Theatre performs "A Night of Comedies!" The evening will consist of two short comedies, "The A.I. Play” by Don Zolidis and "The One-Act Play That Goes Wrong” by award-winning playwrights Henry Lewis, Jonathon Sayer, and Henry Shield. Both shows will ensure you get the hearty laugh we all need.This is the 104th production for Director, Dean Cobb who has been in the FPS district for 54 years. He is joined by his wife, Sue who acts as producer and assistant director.
“The A.I. Play”” finds us with Eleanor who needs to write a paper on The Great Gatsby, but can’t seem to get her act together. Enter pressure by her over-achieving parents and a nudge by an A.I. suggesting she could write it for her, and Eleanor’s world explodes into something she never expected!
“The One-Act Play That Goes Wrong” takes us to opening night of an amateur drama society’s performance of the famous “Murder at Haversham Manor.” This play needs no more explanation. The title says it all.
