A Holiday Event Perfect for the Family!Join us for A Night of Cheer — a cozy, interactive holiday celebration for families, friends, and our theatre community.
Featuring: 🎄 Holiday Home 🎶
Join the twins "Luke and Leia" as they take you on a cabaret-style tour of your favorite winter holidays. They'll spread cheer with original songs that are both lovely and hilarious, (plus a few old favorites!) and monologues and scenes set in Grandma's house through the years during the holiday season.
David Stoddard and Karen Mal are a musical and playwriting duo who tour nationally and collaborate on writing projects across a thousand miles. David is based in Minneapolis and Karen lives right here in Austin. They both are award-winning songwriters, and have several recordings, both separately and together.
Burchfield Theatre is very dear to Karen's heart; she joined the team last spring to help transform the space and get our doors open, and served as co-director and stage manager for our summer production of Aladdin.
