Casting for the following roles in the play "A Night of 'Mostly' Comedy". A Night of "Mostly" Comedy is a collection of short plays that will be shown as a two act play. There are 8 plays in total. Four making up Act 1, after which there will be an intermission, then we'll follow that with Act 2.
This is self-produced by Rick Reischman Productions and there is no pay for actors.
Actors should expect to be in more than one play. At least 2 and maybe 3 depending on how many people are cast. We are looking for a diverse cast of characters to be in my 6 comedies and 2 dramas.
Once cast, all actors will be asked to memorize their lines before rehearsals start in February. Actors will need to be available for rehearsals starting Monday, February 9th. Rehearsals will be Monday through Thursday and will be for 2 plays per night. There is no guarantee that your plays will be rehearsing on the same night.
Rehearsals will not be at the Playhouse. The location for rehearsals isn’t finalized and will be announced once we know for sure. Worse case scenario, rehearsals may end up being at my townhouse.
All actors will need to be available Every night starting March 2nd, 2026 for tech week. Tech week will take place at the Playhouse.
Performances are March 6th and 7th 2026 at 8:00pm and Sunday, March 8th 2026 at 2:00pm. Call time will be one hour before.
Note that some roles have been pre-cast by actors that played these roles in earlier productions.
