WHERE: The Cherry Theatre (Columbia State Community College)
Among the artists featured is ERNEST TUBB, a pioneer of country music and known for his honky-tonk style. He burst onto the Opry scene in the late 1930s and 1940s with hits like “Walking the Floor Over You,” “Rainbow at Midnight,” and “Waltz Across Texas.” He later spent many years as the Grand Ole Opry's Master of Ceremonies.
