On Sunday, April 26, Hear In Rhode Island (HIRI), producer of the Rhode Island Folk Festival (RIFF), will present a fundraising tribute concert to legendary folk performer, Pete Seeger at the Greenwich Odeum in East Greenwich, RI. Hear In Rhode Island is a non profit 501(c)(3) organization that was established in 1994 to present music events and educate the public about local music as well as the importance of music in people’s lives. All performers will perform songs written or recorded by Pete Seeger. Scheduled to appear are; Mark Cutler, Ed McGuirl, Beth Barron, Katherine Quinn, Lisa Couto, Pete Vendettuoli, Dan Lilley & Amy Bedard, Anthony Loffredio & Barn Burning, Mary Ann Rossoni, and Kim Petrarca. Performers will also share brief anecdotes of their connection to Pete or to his music. All proceeds will benefit the 2026 Rhode Island Folk Festival which will take place on August 30 at Crescent Park in East Providence, RI.
