About this Event

So often our automatic reaction is to judge and tell ourselves that things should be different. This 6-week group will focus on the challenges that adolescents have with loving and accepting themselves just as they are.

In this group we will discuss the power of self-esteem and how being kind to ourselves with all of our imperfections can benefit our wellbeing. Group curriculum is based on the self-compassion research done by Dr. Kristin Neff, Ph.D.

This group will be facilitated by Warren Township Youth and Family therapist, AnnaMarie Seminary, MSW, LSW.

Day: Tuesdays, February 4-March11, 2025

Grades: 6th - 8th

All of the groups and workshops are open to both Residents and Non-Residents. Warren Township Residents are welcome to apply for Needs-Based Scholarships if unable to afford the service.
