A Monster Calls is about a boy named Conor whose mom has cancer. One night, a giant tree monster visits him and tells him three stories. In return, Conor has to face the truth about his biggest fear.Through the monster’s stories, Conor learns to deal with his anger, sadness, and guilt. It’s a powerful story about grief, love, and learning to face hard feelings.
