Meet Your Instructor: Ziheng Wang

Hi, I’m Ziheng Wang, your instructor for the Navigating Career Uncertainty Workshop. My journey—from earning a PhD in Artificial Intelligence at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute to becoming an Engineering Manager at Meta—has given me firsthand experience with the challenges of career transitions, burnout, and uncertainty in the fast-paced tech world.

After stepping away from the industry for a career break, I navigated my own period of uncertainty, self-reflection, and rediscovery. Through this experience, I realized that our careers do not define our worth, and I became deeply passionate about helping professionals find clarity, resilience, and renewed purpose during times of change.

Beyond my technical background, I am also a Certified Hypnotist (NGH) and a Mental Fitness & Career Coach, blending hypnosis, mindfulness, neuroscience, and emotional detox techniques to help professionals overcome fear, self-doubt, and anxiety about the future.

This workshop is designed to equip you with both mindset shifts and practical tools to navigate uncertainty with confidence. Whether you’re dealing with a layoff, a career gap, or fear of the unknown, I’ll guide you through reframing setbacks, releasing stress, and turning uncertainty into opportunity.
