One of the keystones of our work at Mending Hearts for Mason is our annual Walk and/or Dog Walk Fundraiser, “A Mile for Mental Health.” Participants and their dogs come together to walk for a cause. This event serves as a powerful symbol of our communal commitment to understanding and support.
The annual walk not only raises crucial funds for our initiatives but also fosters a sense of community, solidarity, and hope. Each stride taken by our walkers signifies a step forward in the fight against suicide and mental health stigmatization.
A fun time for the whole family AND man’s best friend(s). Dogs should dress in their most festive Halloween costume (optional, of course).
No dog? Just come out and walk for the cause!
