A Midsummer Night Slumber (an adult slumber party)
About this Event
Join us for an enchanted overnight woodland gathering beneath the stars at The Sacred Woods. ✨
A Midsummer Night Slumber takes place July 18 from 4:00 PM to July 19 at 11:00 AM and is a dreamy midsummer experience rooted in wonder, connection, playfulness and softness for women, nonbinary and gender-diverse folk who still believe in magic.
As the evening settles, we’ll wander the forest foraging for wildflowers and woodland treasures before crafting flower crowns together and gathering beneath the trees to create a candlelit midsummer table on mismatched china glowing beneath the forest canopy. Guests are invited to bring a magical midsummer dish, snack or treat to share as part of the communal dinner experience.
As night falls, the woods become playful and alive with woodland photo opportunities, magical props, wings and wands available to use (or bring your own), barefoot wandering through the grass and a late-night frolic through the forest guided by the moon to a magical bonfire beneath the stars.
Later, we’ll settle into the geodome for a cozy movie night with popcorn, sweet treats and sparkling drinks alongside hair brushing, braiding, gentle tracing (Kowy), card pulling and the kind of conversations that only happen late at night. The evening will softly close with a restful sound bowl sleep session tucked into the woods.
The next morning begins slowly with gentle fae-inspired yoga beneath the trees before gathering for a literal “toast” to summer brunch featuring cozy drinks, breads and spreads. We’ll spend quiet time connecting with the animals and slower rhythm of the farm before slowly returning to the outside world.
