A dinner party with a deadly twist. Enjoy The Jasmine Bar’s food, drinks, and hospitality while The Dinner Detective brings the professional actors, live comedy, and clues. Your assignment: enjoy dinner—and solve the case.

Doors open at 4:30 PM. Arrive between 4:30 and 5:45 PM for cocktails, mingling, and included light bites.

PRICE / ADMISSION: $125 per person | $225 for two, plus tax and Eventbrite fees.
INCLUDES: Reception light bites, a plated entrée and dessert, the full interactive M**der mystery experience, and one drink per guest from our True Crimes drink menu, including well cocktails, beer, and wine. Additional drinks are available for purchase throughout the event.
AGES: 21+
GRATUITIES: Beverage-service and performer gratuities are not included. Tipping is optional but highly encouraged.
The Jasmine Bar is hosting the dinner party—from the kitchen to the cocktails. The Dinner Detective is bringing its professional performers and interactive M**der mystery to our gathering.
There’s no separate stage, no theatrical costumes, and no obvious cast to identify. The performers blend into the room, leaving you to decide who is simply enjoying dinner—and who has something to hide.
Bring a date, gather your friends, or come ready to meet your fellow suspects. Just consider your first impressions carefully.
Arrive & Get Settled
Our doors open at 4:30 PM. Join us any time between 4:30 and 5:45 PM to mingle, enjoy a cocktail, and settle in before the evening’s investigation. Light bites during this time are included in your ticket.
The Interrogation Reception begins at 6 PM. Collect your detective materials, get acquainted with your fellow guests, and start sizing up the room.
Dinner & Deception
Dinner begins at 6:20 PM, with your entrée and dessert selections made when you dine. Your meal will be plated and served at your table—not buffet-style.
At 6:50 PM, the first act begins. A crime is committed, the Prime Suspects are introduced, and the investigation is underway.
The Dinner Detective combines a semi-scripted mystery with live improvisation. Question the suspects, compare notes with your table, and follow the evidence through the comedy, contradictions, and red herrings.
You’re not simply watching someone solve a mystery. You’re trying to solve it yourself. And while you’re studying everyone else, someone may be taking a closer look at you.
The Big Reveal
At 8:15 PM, review the final clues and submit your answer form. The reveal follows at 8:30 PM, when the killer is unmasked and the evening’s motives, misleading evidence, and deceptions come together.

Menu Selections & Dietary Requests
Choose your entrée and dessert when you dine with us. You do not need to select your meal when purchasing tickets.
A plus sign (+) beside a dietary designation indicates an available modification by omitting an ingredient during preparation. These marked modifications can be requested when ordering. For example, the NF+ option for our Natural Strawberries & Labneh Cream means the pistachio crumble can be left off during preparation—not removed from an already-finished plate.
Please disclose all food allergies, intolerances, and dietary restrictions when purchasing your tickets, so our kitchen can review your needs in advance. You will still choose your meal at dinner; advance disclosure helps us assess the accommodations you may need.

Your ticket includes one drink from our True Crimes drink menu, with well cocktails, beer, and wine among the selections. Additional drinks will be available for purchase throughout the event.
Gratuities for beverage service and The Dinner Detective’s performers are not included. Tipping is optional but highly encouraged. We encourage you to bring cash to show your appreciation for the service team and performers.

At 8:45 PM, the investigation gives way to conversation. Stay for another drink, compare your deductions, and find out which of your friends was a little too convincing under questioning.
