Join us at Lavender Oaks Healing for an immersive experience in the Mayan living cacao tradition led by Abuelo Efren. This in-person event offers a unique opportunity to connect with ancient cultural practices centered around cacao.

There are moments in life when knowledge is no longer something we search for online, through books, or through trends. It arrives through a person.
For the first time, a CACAO MAYAN ELDER from this living lineage will share directly with a community in London. Not as a performance. Not as entertainment.
But as an opportunity to reconnect with the ancestral roots of cacao through stories, presence, preparation and shared ritual. Across the world, cacao continues to grow in popularity.
Yet very few people have had the opportunity to sit with those who have cultivated, protected and lived with this plant through generations.
This gathering is an invitation to slow down and listen. To hear the stories behind cacao. To understand the relationship between land, community and ancestral memory.
As part of this gathering, we will create a community altar together.
We warmly invite you to bring a small offering that holds personal, cultural, or symbolic meaning. This offering will become part of the altar and help weave our individual stories into a shared space of gratitude and remembrance.
Offerings may include:
🌱 Fruits, vegetables, seeds, or flowers
🌱 Incense, copal, herbs, or natural elements
🌱 Photographs of loved ones, ancestors, or family members
🌱 Meaningful objects, symbols, artwork, or small personal items
🌱 Anything that represents gratitude, connection, prayer, or intention
Creating the altar is a collective act. Through these offerings, we honour the traditions that have carried cacao through generations and contribute to a shared space created by the community itself. Please bring an offering if you feel called to do so.
The evening will include:

🌿 Storytelling and ancestral knowledge
🌿 Reflection and community gathering
🌿 A rare opportunity to connect directly with the roots of cacao
🌿 Building CACAO ALTAR together
Spaces will be intentionally limited to honour the integrity and intimacy of the event, ensuring the experience remains potent and deeply held.
