Enjoy a classic Baker’s buffet dinner, cash bar, raffles, silent & live auctions and wrap the evening with a comedy show.
Blessings in a Backpack Huron Valley provides food on the weekend to children who might otherwise go hungry.
The Huron Valley students we serve rely on meals they receive during the week at school but what do they eat on the weekend?
Most of them go 65 hours with little or nothing to eat but that's where we come in. Every week our volunteers, in cooperation with school officials, distribute the packed food bags filled with enough non-perishable food for the weekend to "food-insecure" students on Friday so kids return to school on Monday full, focused, and ready to learn.
