About this Event

Understanding dementia requires more than information alone. It also requires empathy, perspective, and meaningful education.

Join Keswick’s Cognitive & Caregiver Resource Center for A Lived Experience: Introduction to Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease, an immersive educational program designed to help participants better understand cognitive change and the caregiving experience.

Through Dementia Live® and Embodied Labs® learning activities, participants will gain insight into:

  • The lived experience of dementia
  • Communication and emotional changes
  • Sensory and environmental challenges
  • Caregiver stress and support needs
  • Ways to build greater compassion and understanding
  • Practical approaches for more supportive interactions

This program is appropriate for family caregivers, professionals, community members, and anyone interested in building greater awareness and understanding of dementia.
