Join Keswick’s Cognitive & Caregiver Resource Center for A Lived Experience: Introduction to Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease, an immersive educational program designed to help participants better understand cognitive change and the caregiving experience.
Through Dementia Live® and Embodied Labs® learning activities, participants will gain insight into:
- The lived experience of dementia
- Communication and emotional changes
- Sensory and environmental challenges
- Caregiver stress and support needs
- Ways to build greater compassion and understanding
- Practical approaches for more supportive interactions
This program is appropriate for family caregivers, professionals, community members, and anyone interested in building greater awareness and understanding of dementia.
