About this Event

What can an immersive experience teach us about living with cognitive change?

A Lived Experience: Intro to Dementia & Alzheimer’s Disease helps participants build their care partner toolkit through an empathy-based learning experience facilitated through Dementia Live and Embodied Labs programs.

From group virtual reality to hands-on education, participants will gain a greater understanding of dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other cognitive changes—and consider how those changes can shape everyday experiences.

During this program, participants will:

  • Build a foundational understanding of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease
  • Experience empathy-based learning designed to illuminate cognitive change
  • Consider how cognitive changes can affect everyday experiences
  • Strengthen understanding that can inform more supportive interactions

Free program. Registration required.
