Join us for a special screening of Finding Your Roots featuring the incredible story of Jane Gates, the great-grandmother of Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr., and John Gates, a local resident of Cumberland, MD, and Vice President of the Jane Gates Heritage House, followed by a Live-Streamed Interactive Discussion featuring:
Dr. Henry Louis Gates, Jr. – Esteemed historian, literary scholar, and Emmy Award-winning filmmaker
CeCe Moore – World-renowned geneticist and DNA expert
Dr. Gates and CeCe Moore will explore genealogy, genetic research, and African American heritage, sharing their expertise and answering select audience questions.
