You’re invited to a fun and informal literary evening at LanaLou’s Restaurant on Vancouver’s Powell Street.

Lori Thicke will read from her memoir, Dreamer’s Daughter: Surviving My Childhood and Raising My Father, followed by a Q&A and book signing.

By turns heart-wrenching and hilarious, Dreamer’s Daughter is the story of a childhood short on money but rich in almost everything else—and of an eccentric father who fails spectacularly at almost everything except being a loving parent.
