A Library of Black Stories & Paint

Hi y'all!

For those of you who have joined since 2024, this story circle will take a slightly different shape than past iterations.

It will introduce us to a Black-owned creative space right above the Allegheny River! Kiln'n Time has been a favorite artmaking venue of mine owned by Sandy Simon.

We will begin with story circles and lunch across the street at Happenstance Cafe. We will then visit Kiln'n'Time to paint our own canvases that alchemize the stories we are carrying.

This alternative gathering has limited space; if you cannot make it in this time, please know you remain part of the story circle community! You will certainly continue recieving invites to events in the future. We intend to actually expand spatial capacity for the next gathering in May!

Accessibliity notes: The cafe library is up a set of stairs. The art studio has a studio cat named Sunday; if you are allergic please let us know!
