Kirtan is a devotional musical practice rooted in the Bhakti yoga tradition, where simple Sanskrit mantras are repeated in a call-and-response style. It's less about performance and more about participation—a heart-centered experience that invites you to drop into rhythm, sound, and spirit. Punctuated by fun & captivating stories of yoga wisdom, this practice can activate joy, enhance focus, raise both individual and collective vibration, foster a sense of calm and connection… and sometimes inspire blissful dancing! No experience necessary. Bios:
Daniel Cordua is a Senior Yoga Teacher, Relationship Coach + Empowerment Coach, Yoga Wisdom teacher, and Therapist-in-Training. He is the owner & operator of Empowered Connection Coaching (empoweredconnection.me) , co-owner of the organic + intentional herbal remedy line Bhava Wellness (bhavawellness.com) and co-founder of Palo Santo Yoga + Wellness in the East Passyunk neighborhood of South Philadelphia. He has a passion for bringing ancient wisdom and practice into our modern lives in fun, dynamic, and meaningful ways!
Corey Solokoff is a Certified Pranic Healer, yogi, meditator, coffee roaster, and well travelled percussionist, playing with the likes of the late David Newman and many more in kirtans around the country.
