About this Event
In May of 1976, history was made when Steven Spurrier, a British wine merchant in Paris, orchestrated a blind tasting between California and French wines that would forever alter the course of wine appreciation. At the time, it seemed far from fair – France's esteemed wines against an unknown Napa Valley. The result appeared obvious. But what followed was the greatest underdog tale in wine history.
Join us for a blind tasting experience as we pay homage to that groundbreaking event. You'll sip, savor, and discern the unique characteristics of eight exceptional wines from California and France. Which will triumph in your glass?
