A Journey through Jazz with Aldevis Tibaldi

We are delighted to welcome international saxophonist Aldevis Tibaldi to Hampton Court House for a special celebration of two iconic jazz figures: Duke Ellington and Miles Davis.Aldevis's Tell Duke project revisits the vibrant world of Duke Ellington, shining light on the composer’s imagination and creativity. In honour of Miles Davis’s centenary, Aldevis now turns to the trumpeter’s extraordinary catalogue, including a fresh acoustic reinterpretation of Davis’s lesser-known “electric” years. This thoughtful approach offers an engaging and accessible way for families and young listeners to enjoy this remarkable music.This unique event blends music, storytelling and live performance, opening the door to the rich universe of jazz for audiences of all ages.
