This Valentine's Day, share the joy of learning by purchasing a delicious slice of cheesecake at the Independence Public Library's "A House of Cheesecake and Toppings" fundraiser! There are three easy and delightful ways to join in! You can pre-order your slice with delivery within Independence city limits, pre-order for a convenient pickup, or stop by on February 14 (weather permitting) from Noon to 3:00 PM to grab a slice in person. We aim to raise $700 to acquire a "Rug's Alive," an interactive 3D Augmented Reality play rug, and an iPad for the Youth Department.
