Vintage Rock Meets Holiday Tradition
Acclaimed performer and musician Zachary Stevenson returns to Surrey this holiday season to headline his signature concert event, A Holly Jolly Christmas. Known for his award-winning portrayal in The Buddy Holly Story and his distinct theme-based performances ranging from vintage rock ’n’ roll and ’60s pop to country and jazz, Stevenson brings his latest seasonal spectacle to the Bell Performing Arts Centre blending traditional Christmas classics with major rock ‘n’ roll hits from the 1950s and 1960s. Accompanying Stevenson on stage is his all-star backing band, alongside special guest artists Molly Jean and Darcy Jo of The Lovettes-Chicago’s premier ’60s-style girl group.
Critics have lauded Stevenson’s stage presence ahead of the run. Chris Jones of the Chicago Tribune noted, “If you don’t like him, you don’t like much of anybody!”, while Mark Robbins of Vancouver Presents described his performance as “the epitome of effortless cool gorgeous voice and a star-quality stage presence.”
A family-friendly performance brimming with vintage charm, A Holly Jolly Christmas is the one Holly-day concert you won’t want to miss!
