Meet at the Village Hall where there is plenty of free parking. 7.00pm. Admission is free but the walk will include a guided tour of St. Edith's Church by Church Warden Susan Frost and any donations to Bishop Wilton Church fabric fund, will be much appreciated. Dogs are welcome on this walk but must be kept on a lead at all times.
We start at the village hall and walk up to the Palace site for a talk, walk the south side of the village beck with various stops down to the shop and the pub and across to the Blacksmith’s forge which is now an arts studio. Back up the north side of the village to take in the manor house and into the church. After that it ends and we walk across the paddock to the hall car park. The timings are difficult to estimate
Itinery: Village hall at 7pm with a brief talk on the history of the village, 7.10 Bishop Wilton Holloway, 7.15 Archbishop’s palace 7.30 Richard Walgate's house, shop and Fleece 7.35 Blacksmith Forge Art Gallery. Church 8pm - 8.30pm and finish to walk across the paddock ensuring gates are closed and dogs are on leads, back to the village hall car park.

We will be roughly following the route set out in the booklet "Bishop Wilton - A History Walk". It will be available on the night for a special price of £5 with all proceeds going to St. Edith's church. Cash preferred but card payment possible.
