About this Event

What if Belfast’s story could be told street by street? Building up an image of the city, its history and its people to showcase the complex interconnected narratives which surround us?

Jason Burke has been mapping Belfast’s history in various directions and formats. Not only has his popular Historical Belfast Podcast crisscrossed our city over the course of five years worth of episodes but his ongoing newspaper column, Streets of Belfast, published in the Belfast Telegraph has pieced together a vibrant history of the city.

Join Jason for an historical walking tour which will bring together all such elements in order to provide an entertaining history of Belfast according to its streets.

Gather at the front gates of Belfast City Hall at 13:45 for a sharp departure at 14:00. This is an outdoor walking tour - please dress appropriately for the weather.
