A historical walk from Shoreham to Eynsford - £7pp

On the 28th July we will be strolling between Shoreham and Eynsford. The walk will start at Shoreham Filston Lane car park (Filston Lane, Shoreham, Sevenoaks TN14 7SP). We will make our way through Shoreham along the Darent Valley Way to Eynsford. We will be making our way through Hop Fields, past Castles and Churches. Along the way we will hear tales of arguments over war memorials, forgeries of fine art and the obligatory ghostly monk haunting a ruined castle.** Car parking charges are NOT included **
The walk will take approximately four and a half hours (around 13.3KM) with a lunch spot (lunch not included) of around half an hour and will cost £7 per person.
Meeting time- 9:15am ready for a 9:30 start
Terrain- there are some steep inclines.
Distance- approximately 13.3Km (8.2 miles)
Walking time- 4 and a half hours walking

Dogs are welcome as long as they are friendly and will go on a lead when required such as entering fields of livestock.
If we can we ask everyone to bring with them:
A- Suitable footwear )strong shoes or boots preferably walking boots no Flip-flops)
B- A waterproof coat (and waterproof trousers) in case of rain
C- Drinking water and lunch
D- Personal medication (please make me aware in confidence of any medical condition you may have that may affect you in the walk no matter how small)
E- Suitable walking clothing
There might only be natural toilets along the way (a bush)

PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU HAVE ANY COVID SYMPTOMS
-We do take pictures to our walks for promotional and training purposes. If you do not wish to be included please let us know on the day.
-The walk will follow all current covid regulations.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation made 4 days prior to the event will be given a credit note for a future walk that has to be used within 90 days.
