A HEARTFUL OF BLUES is a two-day winter celebration presented by the Cape Breton Island International Blues Society, bringing the soul, grit, and power of blues music to downtown Sydney. Held at the iconic Capri Cabaret, the Cape Breton Island International Blues Festival showcases award-winning regional, national, and international artists in an intimate, high-energy setting.
From deep traditional blues to modern blues-rock and soul-infused performances, A Heartful of Blues offers two nights of exceptional live music, storytelling, and connection. Each evening features limited seating, a full supper menu, and late-night After Hours Blues Club (Daniel’s Alehouse) performances for those who want to keep the blues alive into the night.
